Kung Fu Kitty - nonmusical July
5-24, 2010 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm Directed by Ilich Guardiola Assisted by Josh Clark
Performances July 21-24 Ages 10-17
Everybody is kung fu fighting
like cats and dogs in this hilarious, action-packed slapstick comedy. Fur (and puns) fly when feisty kitten Princess escapes
the clutches of the sinister, catnapping Ting Tang and his hysterical henchcats, then comes under the protection of a mongrel
martial arts master and his clumsy canine companions. With the help of the punchy pooches, and after a rousing “training
montage,” Princess faces her fears and finds inner strength to defeat (and declaw) her adversary. This is a play and
a stage combat class in one! This madcap comedy has great gags, memorable characters and plenty of opportunities for
controlled, choreographed, comical stage combat.

Hansel and Gretel - musical July 26 - Aug 14, 2010 Camp
runs 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Directed by Josh Clark Assisted by
Teri Clark Performances Aug 11-14 Ages 6-17
This is a sweet and charming musical adaptation of a favorite fairy tale. Sent into the woods, Hansel and Gretel meet up
with a number of peculiar characters. A fiery troll guards his little wooden bridge. Even more, an articulate owl, a forest
sprite and two hobgoblins are in the service of an evil (but extremely funny) witch who lives in a candy-coated little cottage.
She locks poor Hansel in a cage and feeds him nothing but cake! Everyone will cheer Gretel as she outwits the crone and sets
free all the children who have been turned into gingerbread cookies!
COST: Full-day
camps are $450 for 3 full weeks of camp. Lunch is included. Tuition also includes costume, cast t-shirt
and two tickets to the show. |
