2010/2011 Houston Family Arts Center Season

OKLAHOMA! July 22 - August 6 at the Berry Center Our final show of the 2010-2011 Season is the always popular Rodgers and Hammerstein smash hit set in the Oklahoma territory at the turn of the century.  Revivals of this popular musical have won nearly every award on Broadway.  A perennial audience favorite, this musical is a perfect close to the HFAC season.  1944 Pulitzer Prize, Two 1955 Academy Awards, One 2002 Tony Award and seven nominations, Four 1999 Laurence Olivier Awards (London); The New York Drama League named Oklahoma the "Best Musical of the Century."  Directed by Ilich Guardiola, with choreography by Ellen Dyer, and musical direction by Sam Brown.  Don't miss this high-energy show, with updated staging, intense verbal sparring, fabulous singing, and athletic dancing and tumbling.  Rated PG.  Some material may not be suitable for young children.  Children under 3 are not permitted in main stage performances. 2011 - 2012 Season Tickets! A season ticket is a great way to select your seats NOW for the shows you want all year, and save money at the same time!  Choose 6, 7, or 8 shows .  The cost of the Season Ticket is the regular ticket price (adults $16, senior $14, student $12), multiplied by the number of shows.  By purchasing a season package, you save the process fee of $2 per ticket per event AND you get to select your seats now for every show of the season well before we open the ticket sales to the general public.  After you pick your seats, then you can change each ticket to senior or student on the pull down menu under each ticket.  If you need assistance, call our ticketing manager at 281-685-6374.
